With the development of reusable space launch systems, humanity is on the verge of a new era in space, where research programs are able to be accelerated through the industrial development in space. SpaceDIRT will support this shift by leveraging Canadian excellence in resource development and robotics to support the development of resources and technologies critical to long term space missions.

We are constantly testing and iterating our design to deliver the absolute best product. Our test platform is a modular vehicle equipped with a custom automotive-grade battery, motor control cabinet, and main control unit. This setup allows us to trial various configurations before integrating them into our product designs. Fun fact: this unit originally had 16 wheels!

Our first platform product design that will support a number of product offerings targeted at resource development, security and severe environments. Some key features include an ultra cold rated battery, all aluminum wheels and integrated vision/teleoperation system. Check out the full spec sheet here:

The four-wheeled companion to the SLED-308, this design builds off the common architecture proven on our test platform with automotive driveline parts and battery modules. With an overall footprint of 1m x 1.2m it is perfect for navigating existing paths and trails or for remote monitoring. For additional specs, please reach out to shaun.riddell@spacedirt.ca
